What is micro-needling?

Minimally invasive and precise manner procedure that cause micro injury to your skin.
The damage created by the micro injury helps produce Collagen and Elastin.
Collagen and Elastin are proteins that keep your skin firm and smooth.

Who can get micro-needling?

Individuals concerned with:

Any actives on your skin such as: Retinol, Vitamin C, Azelaic Acid, and Benzoyl Peroxide.
Avoid aspirin, ibuprofen, and alcohol as these may increase your chance of bleeding and bruising.

Please arrive to the appointment on time to get the consents signed and to start the numbing process.
We will numb your face and or neck for about 15 minutes.
Numbing treatment will be removed and face cleansed to begin the process.
Treatment can last about 30-45 minutes or less.
Mask will be placed post-treatment to cool down the face.

** Some discomfort can be felt during procedure. But note that provider can and will change settings according to client’s tolerance.

Redness and tingling sensation are normal for about 24-48 hours after procedure.
It is best to keep skin hydrated and avoid any harsh chemicals, exfoliants, sun, make up, steam/saunas for at least 24 hours after procedure.
You can begin using non-exfoliating cleanser 24 hours post procedure.
Light moisturizer can be applied for dryness and sunscreen is recommended at all times.
Avoid sunny conditions as much as possible or wear protective gear as needed. Skip the make up for 24 hours or longer if possible.

** It is important to note that the sunburn-like effect is normal for up to 3 days.

Remember to be gentle with your skin as it recovers.
